Is TDS applicable on service tax amount also?

Service providers give bills after adding service tax. Whether TDS under incometax is to be made on basic amount or gross amount including service tax?

No. TDS is on payment.

No. Its applicable on Groos amount only

TDS is applicable for the payment without service tax i.e. for the basic amount. Because service tax is to be paid by the service provider to the Govt.
