Volvo S40 insurance cost?
I'm going to lease a new car soon and I had my heart set on a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta SE ($21,040), but yesterday I found an really good deal on a 2007 Volvo S40 ($20,800). It's never been sold so it's technically new (it was a dealer demo). I'm just wondering if the insurance on this car would be similar to that of the Jetta. It's the base model 2.4i with no options except the automatic transmission. Do you know if if the Volvo would be more costly to insure?

Ahhhh...the MAINTENANCE question comes up.......
If this is a true LEASE....your maintenance should be included.
I lease a 2007 Mini Cooper S and it is covered, bumper to bumper, for the first 36 months......and THEN I get RID of it and get another! They even cover wiper blades! Oil changes (I did have to pay for tire rotation) but nothing else!
So...you might ask your dealer/leasing agent..
As far as INSURANCE goes.....you need to call a local independent agent. They will normally have a dozen or more companies to choose from and should be able to get you a competitive price to solve your insurance dilemma. Just look in your local phone book for the PIA or Big I (Trusted Choice) logo and they should be able to help!
Good luck, drive RESPONSIBLY and I hope this helps!

This article might help as it did me, and might be able to give you a good rate.

THE VOLVO WILL COST BOTH MORE IN MAINTENANCE AS WELL AS IN INSURANCE.

To insure, they are about the same, if not the same. But as for maintenance, the Jetta is far less expensive to maintain.
