First of all comparing these two is not right because they come from different segments. Swift comes in small car segment and Fabia in hatched car segment.

Now to the prices- In 5 lakhs you can get the top model of Swift with technology such as ABS but Fabia's basic model only starts at 7.15 lakhs without ABS etc.

Performance wise we cant say much because Swift is an old rider whereas Fabia is a new one.
But knowing the history of Skoda it has to be one of the best cars available right now.

If you ask about comfort i can guarantee Fabia is much more comfortable. Leg spacing is really very good.
But as i said earlier Swift is more affordable..

In looks though Fabia is a winner as Swift has a fat ***.
