I am staying in Ghaziabad. Do I need to approach Ghaziabad court for getting the letter of administration, succession certificate or can I get it from any where in India?
Additional Details
Its for claiming insurance money of the deceased who died intestate.

There are some legal system to get the succession certificate. If you are to inherit some movable or fixed assets from your dear ones you need to submit application for the same at the place of those assets, more over you have to put in a news paper about this succession.
