Problem importing video into windows movie maker, please help!?
I have a camera that records onto dvds and I just finalized a dvd. It's an RW. According to the properties it's an IFO file. How can I import the video? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Please give detailed instructions, I'm not very good with computers. Ten points to the best!

The DVD folders - Audio_TS and Video_TS contain VOB, IFO & BUP files. IFO simply holds DVD navigational InFOrmation, such as, where a video chapter begins and where audio & subtitle streams exist w/in the MPEG-2 movie (VOB) file. If an IFO file is opened, it would launch the DVD or a certain set of VOB files.
- Download a video converter - try Prism or Kate's (just google)
- Convert your VOB files to avi or wmv
- Import converted files to wmmaker

- Thanks, I hope this works. I have to do it on someone else's computer though, the dvd won't play in my dvd drive for some reason. If you have any reason why that's happening I'd greatly appreciate that too (email kuntzmann@yahoo.com).

You might need a converter in some cases.
Some converters are free on www.freeware.com
Or just type freeware converters in google
