You dont need to spend even a penny to have Google ads on your website. Google ads are both impression and click based.

yes.... if you place Google ads on Ur site then definitely you will be paid pay per click basis....it can be 0.2 to 5 dollars depending on your visitors...
you will definitely earn money.....

If some one clicks on your ads then revenue added to your google account. It may varies from $0.01 to even $100. If your website get more traffic then more chance of get clicks on your ads. So, page views also very important.
