How long after your first contraction?

Question

How long after your first contraction did they start getting stronger and more consistent? Also does this sound like labor?
-have been contracting on and off mildly and weak for 5hrs and a few last night
-lost more of my mucus plug
-cervix feels a little more open (yes I checked it)
- got up and still feel them occasionally
-couldn't sleep through them because of the anticipation/uncomfortableness
-I am 40 weeks and 5 days
-effaced 40% as of wednesday, and baby was still high
-Have had a lot of gas/loose stool
-peed but it is barely coming out!
-dizzy

i would call your doctor or go to the hospital
