what are some good ways to build up ur self confidence?

i have the same problem. i cant get up the courage to even talk to a guy let alone someone i like. try doing things that make feel better about yourself. it works it might not be the best advice but i tried.

In order to build up your self confidence, I'm guessing you're trying to do things that you wouldn't do normally. Always think positively of yourself and it doesnt matter if you're not good at a certain thing, don't let that bring you down. If you like something you're not good at or want to talk to someone that you dont normally talk to, put yourself out there and try once, a simple hello or a one time try.(Not referring to drugs) That is definitely one of the first steps in building your self confidence.

Dress nicely, groom yourself, get a haircut, tell yourself that you are a wonderful person, talk to friends like you know your stuff and smile.

Learn to love yourself first of all, because if you don't no one else will, and no one else has to.

Try to evaluate yourself, emphasis your strong points, and work on the weak ones. You can try asking people around you what they like and dislike about you, and change that which will make you better.
Learn to keep a conversation going, and try and have a broad group of interests, that will be helpful when a conversation gets stale.

Some basic stuff like taking care of your hair and skin, and staying neat, or upgrading your clothing are probably also helpful, especially when dealing with the opposite sex.

make a list of all of the positive things about you. put a post it with an encouraging message in some place that you will see it everyday (i.e. mirror, steering wheel, etc.)

Self confidence can be built up by following ways but before pls think who said that you are not self confident.

1, It exist in your brain that who you are really?
2. So be aware of the stuff going to your brain, be away from the negatives.
3. Start reading, watching positive books movies etc.
4. Start self talk to empower yourself.

Finally know the real fact that you really are very confident, but never ever compare yourself from others, because you are Unique, Special and Different from others. So believe in yourself and start loving yourself.
