Was there a rivalry between Bihar heavyweights Sri Krishna Singh & Anugrah Narain Sinha?

Bihar Kesari Sri babu & Bihar Vibhuti Dr Anugrah Narayan Sinha are regarded as the architects of modern Bihar.They knew each other from their student days;while Sri babu was a great orator,Anugrah Narayan was handpicked by Mahatama Gandhi with Rajendra Prasad for the satyagraha.
The first Bihar cabinet after Independence had only these two as Chief Minister & deputy Chief Minister *** Finance Minister respectively.
Still it is often said that they had a bitter rivalry between them.although they worked together in government for 13 years and fought for India's independence for 30 years,still they always opposed each other.Is it true?were they opponents to each other?
