For the Women: Would you Date a Big Guy?

Question

To be honest, i do not look for dates anymore.

I am 6'4'' and 335 Lbs, i am very healthy and very strong, i work out 3 times a week, and i can run up 5 flights of stairs without doing that huffing and puffing.

My question is simple would you date a fat guy? and please state why you would or would not do so.

Well, my sister is dating a fat-ish guy. To be honest, I really hated him at first. He was a 20 year old, white, (i'm not white.) and fat. I couldn't help but hate him, and would always question my sister as to why he would ever date a guy like him.
But I got to know him. He turned out to be an EXTREMELY caring, FUNNY as hell, and silly person to be around! I've never seen a person as nice as him!! I like him a lot (not literally but as friends). Now I know why my sister never bothered about his weight, it's all the personality.

Oh right, back to the question...I would probably not date a fat guy, well he doesn't have to be extremely fit but not TOO overweight is fine. but love is really strange, it comes to you unexpectedly, and you never know, I'd probably marry a fat guy!

I married one. My hubby is 5'9" 250lbs. I prefer it. I don't like skinny guys because they feel fragile when hugging them.

mmmmm i dunno. I know that you shouldn;t base a person on their looks but I thuink you have to have some attraction to them. Beauty is what catches the eye but the personality is what holds the heart

If the date was purly physical then no, cause it would take more than what you look like to get a date with me. Are you fat and sloppy? do you TRY to maintain a healthy lifestyle. All those factor in.

Fat guys in my opinion are alright, I just want to make sure you take care of yourself also.

Probably not, quite honestly. But that doesn't mean I'd date a skinny guy either. I just have my certain type of guy that I'm attracted to, and I probably wouldn't date anybody who didn't fall into that. I do like big guys, but by big I don't mean fat. My bf's 6'1" and weighs about 185. So yeah I'm just kind of rambling. Sorry this probably doesn't really answer your question I'm just bored!

well it would depend on his personality i think.
he could be well fit and be an ignorant f*ck so then i would not date him at all.he could be a big chap and an ignorant f*ck and i wouldnt date him either.it aint all about lucks he has to have a good personality

You'll find the right girl if you are persistent and honest in doing so. I am one of those people that can honestly say that if i click with someone, then it doesn't matter what they look like. If you say you are a healthy big guy, then you are. It sounds like you are athletic, i'm picturing football or something, and you seem confident in that perspective of you.

You have to look at the positives, that is something I definantly look for in a guy- oh and making me laugh without being too rude or gross.(that will get you pretty far) but looking at the positives, why would you want to date someone so shallow that they would not like you just because of your size?

looks arent everything, personality is soo much more important so dont stop looking for dates unless your personality really sucks.

In all honesty, (To me anyway) I don't look for much in appearance. I know that there has to be some attraction, but personality is what matters more than what you look like.. you could be with the most hottest guy (or girl) and they could have the worst personality ever!
But people these days base everything on looks.. (more than half of relationships fail because of that) So, yes.. if a bigger guy did have a great personality then I would date him. :)
