Why are questions about God removed from R &S? Doesnt this discourage us here?

I had posted these two questions yesterday which have been removed:

1. How and where do we find God? PL read on!?
2. Would you love to have lunch with God? PL read on!?

I guess they thought the lunch question was a joke and jokes are sometimes viewed as disrespectful when it comes to God. Who knows?

NON believers report us as "ranting" if we add on to the "post"...
YET other topics have questions asked ,that the asker KEEPS adding to and making the question a rant...

You could try asking the question with a little bit more class, and see if that does the trick.

There are athiests on the Yahoo staff, but it's not like that's suprising.
If you email them and ask why they deleted it though, they'll just say it's because you put the "PL read on!?". Try to refrain from doing that on your questions. It also makes less people answer.


How and where do you find God?
By being open to him and listening. The bible says "Seek and you shall find", which is really true. If your boss tells you to find a food item at the store, and you're looking in the animal department; then that isn't seeking, it's waiting for the food to come to you. Of course God seeks you, but you cannot just leave it all up to God.

God is EVERYWHERE! And if you are born again then he is in your heart and you will never have to look for him.

Would you love to have lunch with God?
Of course haha! I'd have what he is having.

Most of the best contributors have had a question or answer deleted at least once. If enough people "report" a "violation" it is removed regardless of whether or not it violates community guidelines. The system is largely automated. On the other hand, insulting or ranting questions and answers or personal threats should be removed. So the baby is sometimes tossed out with the bathwater.

I can't imagine why people would delete God questions. I can't imagine how they could offend anyone and it just goes to show how petty some people can be.

That's the irony, the religion and spirituality section has become the atheist site but they haven't changed the name so they can keep making fun at us. I truly pity them though and they need our prayers.

Just reporting without it being inquired to see the reporting is justified or not can remove the question, if that is the rule, such things keep on happening.Anybody may report for whatever the reason he feels fit, questioner is at the mercy of such people. A kind of archaic monarchy, serfdom, practiced here.There must be a grievance cell to hear both the party and take decision rather than the present arbitrary system.

I think your Questions bother some people that are not a Christian and since people have different believe or do not believe at all this is becoming to much for them to handle,...
