M.Tech eligibility and GATE Entrace exam?

Question

Hi,

1. I have B.sc computer engineering, three years course. My Bsc course contains total of 6 semester which includes around 40 computer science subjects.
So my Bsc course is no less than B.Tech course except mine is three years course.

2. I have MBA (Systems) and I have studied computer subjects in second and third semester.

My question is Am I eligible for GATE entrance test and do M.Tech in computer science.??


I know people say you have to have B.Tech or Masters in science/stats etc.

Am I eligible??????

Please do let me know , I am confused whether to apply GATE or not.

I have checked gate prospectus and its mentionted that eligibilty criteria is b.tech or MSC with science or stats or equivalent

Hi,
I suggest you download the GATE Prospectus/ brochure from IIT/IISc website and find out for yourself.
I doubt that you are eligible (4 year degree factor), but to confirm do as suggested.
