Can I know the advance tax deduction breakup of an individual in India.?

A public personality has paid around eight times more Advance Tax this year compared to last year. Can I get the basis of his calculation for advance tax payment through Right to Information or through any other Forum ?

Advance tax is Income Tax Department subject. You have to apply to Income Tax department under right to information act. But the department will not give you the information as it is personal and private.

Advance tax paid on or before 15 September is 30% of tax due (total tax on projected income during FY).

That is the basis of his calculation.
