Watching scary films whilst pregnant..?

I know this may sound like a really stupid question but, my partner and I are going to the cinema tonight to watch a scary film when he asked "wait - are you allowed to watch scary films?"

I dont usually because I'm usually a big wimp and get scared too easily lol..

But if i go and if Im scared, Will it stress out my baby? Im 24 weeks pregnant.

I tried researching other questions like this but all the answers were really mean to the askers!

Thanks

i wud'nt adivce u to watch a horror movie whn ur pregnant dear. if u've noticed in many places wher a horror movie is being screened they say stuff like people below 18 and pregnant ladies not allowed. there is a good reason to it. and to add to it u yourself said tat ur a big wimp. that means u get scared easily and whn ur pregnant things in ur body are not same as b4. if ur blood pressure goes up it may cause some trouble!! more importantly can u sit thru a 1 - 1.5 hour movie wit wanting to pee?? :) hw many times can u get up and go to pee in a theatre??!!! i think its better u rent a DVD at home or atleast watch a chick flick or a rom com wit ur partner!! :)
    enjoy

Fetal communication is no longer a myth lady..better believe the old grand mothers tale when she said read holy scriptures when u are pregnant..or believe in the tail of Abhimanyu who learnt the art of going into the chakrayahu in his moms tummy...its scientifically proved that a child in womb learns what his parents do in real life outside.....so be that wise...lol

Cant see the harm in it, but if your usually a big wimp, why would you want to. Id rather sit on the couch and watch a chick flick with my man.

I think you will be fine :) Its normally being stressed or upset that would harm the baby, and that is only within the first 3 months, So you should be fine :)
