Although masturbation is a healthy habit, it can become an addiction, and thus interfere with everyday activity.

The best way to stop it,just like any other addiction, is to stop COLD TURKEY...
This means, stop completely, don't go, "i will masturbate once a week, then next month, once every two weeks", it will not work, trust me.
Also, do not think "i have not masturbated in 2 weeks, i think i can celebrate with just one....", this gets you right back into the habit again (you start to think, well, i broke the streak, 1 more day of masturbating wont hurt, even if you tell yourself you will not do this, you will...)

But, please, don't be TOO hard on yourself, it is a natural thing to do, just break the habit, then you can go back to a healthy schedule.

Masturbation is a good and healthy activity practiced by at least 95% of the males on earth. It is good for your physical and mental wellbeing. It has the potential to reduce prostate and testicular cancers. It relieves stress and frustration and will help you to concentrate on other aspects of your life.

Most men masturbate 2 or 3 times every day and many do it much more than that. It is not detrimental to your health or lifestyle. It will not cause negative side effects.

Limit yourself to twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night. Only masturbate in your bed and that will solve your problem. Enjoy!

    IF YOU CONTINUE M''BATING,

    1. YOU WILL DIE EARLY
    2. YOU WILL BECOME IMPOTENT IN DUE COURSE
AND CANNOT SATISFY YOUR WIFE AFTER MARRIAGE.
SO SHE MAY BECOME OTHER'S PROPERTY.
    3. YOU CAN HAVE THE PLEASURE OF SEX

    STOP IT AT ONCE.

HARDLY ONCE A MONTH IF NECESSARY, YOU MAY
    EJACULATE.

    GO FOR YOGA
KEEP YOUR HAND AWAY FROM YOU WEAPON
USE INDIAN LANGOTI SO THAT YOUR HAND
    DOES NOT REACH IT EVERYTIME.

Don't listen to RAO M.K. There are not fatal effects of masturbation whether you do or don't do it. Yes, many males do masturbate, though there are many who don't. Masturbation is merely an act of self-pleasure to eliminate the feeling of arousal in the body. Yes, it can be addicting, but you will not die or become impotent. You can though, begin to become addicted and not think of anything else. Your body will adjust accordingly to the process you take to stop masturbating.
The best way to reduce the amount of times you masturbate is to keep your mind occupied. Don't allow yourself long periods of time where you are doing nothing and have no one to talk to or hang out with. There probably are many things you can do to keep your mind occupied such as helping around the house, cleaning up, hanging with friends, taking a walk, or just playing sports. As you find things to do to clear your head and mind during the day and into the night, you'll find that you don't have time to masturbate, thus the reduction in amounts. Try getting down to masturbating just twice a day, once in the morning or once at night. That way you can have satisfaction before your day begins and as it ends. Just do it once at night and try dozing. If the urge starts again, then I'd advise you to get up, take a cold shower or walk around your block to make you tired so you'll doze off easily upon your return home. If pornography contributes to this, then I'd advise you to stay off the computer when you're not doing important work or arousal begins to set in. This alone will lessen the temptation.
Realize that this is a working progress. It's going to take many, many months/years to completely rid yourself of, depending on your determination. Your body will probably have deep urges and you may give in, but just keep up with keeping busy and you'll get through. You probably will have Nocturnal Emissions, but these will cease once your body adjusts.
You can do more research online or at your local library about How To Reduce Masturbation. I'm sure there are many free, accurate sources out there to help. May you have the best of luck with this. Hope this helps.

Find ways to have a more intense release. This will lengthen the amount of time before you want to do it again. A sexual encounter with a woman is your best bet.

FYI the sex addict doesnt masturbate but they go for the real thing anyway there is no side effect of masturbation, but anything is excess is not good so also is masturbation.

try to involve yourself in activities that keeps you busy, like games, TV.
go out with friends or get a GF.,
join some club activities or some self help groups
