I just got back from Europe and my two favorite countries were Germany and Slovenia. I LOVED Slovenia such a beautiful little country and right next to Italy, a train ride away from Venice. Greece and Turkey are nice, but OVERLY run with tourists! Egypt is quite beautiful as well... lived in Sinai for a year. Definitely try to fit Sinai (Red Sea) if time allows.

Europe has so many interesting places. You have to set your priorities. Do you wish to concentrate on beaches, nightlife, museums, architecture,quaint communities, art (performing and/or creative) , food, nature (mountains, rugged seashore) etc. etc. You can't do justice to all on one visit. I suggest that you rephrase your question
