  • Looking for a particular PC keyboard?

    Currently I have a logitech k300 compact keyboard. It measures approx 40cm long. Does anyone know of any makes that are similar in length but have illuminated keys?

    I've looked at all of the gaming keyboards which have backlit keys but they are all long (standard size I suppose).

  • Face masks and allergies?

    I have non-allergic rhinitis, so my nose is blocked 90% of the time so I tend to breath through my mouth the majority of the time.

    In Wales from Monday 14 Sept, everyone has to wear masks in public indoor spaces, just like England introduced a while back. The store I work in has given everybody masks to wear from Monday, but they feel thick fabric..I haven't tried it on yet but I feel that it's going to be horrible to wear.

    How are some people exempt from wearing them, example asthma sufferers (I'm no expert, but apparently it doesn't affect a persons breathing) but I think it does.

    What are your thoughts on this?

  • How to calculate this equation?

    If I have the following equation: if

    y

    is the global population in billions at the start of year and

    t

    is the year.

    300y = 23t - 44180 (1950 ≤ t ≤ 2010)How, using algebra can I solve the equation to calculate when the population passes 6billion?So far I have:

    300y = 23t - 44180

    300x6 = 23t - 44180

    1800 + 44180 = 23t

    45980 = 23t

    but not sure if any of what I have is even remotely correct.

    Best answer for clear concise help. Thank you!

  • Solve this equation by factorisation?

    I've been  on an online calculator to see how this is calculated but I don't understand it.

    The equation is:

    2x^2 + 30x + 112 = 0

    Can't work out how to solve this by factorisation.

    Steps and solutions would be great, thank you!

  • Anyone else experience cold calls?

    I've had the same mobile number for about 15 years now and more than ever I am getting ridiculous amounts of marketing calls, car accident calls, life insurance calls etc.

    I signed up to the TPS about 6 months ago and hasn't seem to have made a difference. These so called 'companies' have gone from landlines to calling you off what seems to be mobile numbers. If you try and call back it says the number is not recognised.

    Just this week I've had 5 calls from Perfect Benefits to ask marketing questions, each time I've said I'm not interested and take my number off your system. Each of these times they have called off a different number starting with 07.

    If I had time I used to give stupid answers to their questions but now it's getting on my nerves. Actually surprised I haven't received a call today.

    How often do you get such calls?

  • Degrees to radian to radian pi?

    I wan't to convert 105 degree to radians, then display my answer in terms of pi.

    so, I've done 105Xpi/180=1.832595715 rad

    I've been on a converter to show what 105 degree is in terms of pi and it says 7/12 pi

    But don;t know how to get to that value?

  • Python Lists?

    I want to add numbers together in a list.

    I need to print the values of the first number in the list plus the last number in the list, so the first sum would be 999+1 and print function would display 1000

    and the print function for the second list would display 10.

    I can't seem to define the print_plus_last. I can either get the print function to display only one number from the listsnew_list = [1, 2, 3, 5, 33, 56, 199, 353, 530, 999]new_list = [0, 2, 4, 10]print (first_plus_last)

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

  • How to fix my display on new pc monitor as the display seems not quite right?

    I ve just bought a new 4k hd pc monitor.

    I ve set the resolution at 3840x2160 and the scale of apps, text etc at 250 percent as this is the only way the text on my screen is readable.

    When I right-click and drag a file for example into another folder, the move to little text box that comes up is tiny. This obviously has something to do with the scaling.

    I ve got the monitor connected via HDMI cable into my pc s graphics card.

    Is this the best display I m going to get?

  • Help with another maths question?

    I needed to convert a sinewave 475Hz to milliseconds which I've managed to do.

    So if I have 2.11ms (3 s.f) which is now reduced by a factor of 5, which is 0.422ms.

    So, if the time period is now 0.422ms, how do I now calculate the resulting frequency of the sinewave in kHz to 3 significant figures?

    I've found a calculator online and the result in kHz I got was 0.422ms = 2.36966825 kHz but I need to know how it was calculated.

    Thanks!!
