  • My neighbor is being an endless pain in the neck. What should I do?

I'm living at my mom's apartment and there's this neighbor who lives below me and constantly complaining about the noise that me and my sister makes. First he complained about the dog barking (it's a yorkie) and then he complained about the footsteps. I told him everytime that I would do my best to keep it quiet. And no matter how hard I tried, he still complains. I tried to speak to the apartment manager about my side of the story but they never listened. Then, a few weeks ago, my dog died and my sister moved out. So it's just been me at the apartment. And since I"m student teaching at a high school, I'm not anywhere near the apartment during the day. He stopped complaining for about one month and then he started again today.

I feel like I don't have any freedom of movement in this apartment because he's always complaining. I've been walking on the balls of my feet because of his complaining. There were neighbors across from him who had a dog that kept barking and a cat that kept meowing. And he never complained about them. He's just always after me and the managers won't listen to me. They always take his side of the story. The manager told me today that if she gets one more complain from him, then he should call the cops, even though I haven't been doing anything wrong. What should I do? I'm reaching my limit and I really want to start filing a lawsuit because I am sick of this harrassment.

  • How to stop defamation of Italian Americans?

This may be a weird question but I've been doing a bit of research on defamation and discrimination of Italian Americans. In other words, Anti-Italianism. I don't have anything against Italians. But since it's such a big issue, how do I help stop these kinds of discrimination against Italians? What's the first step? I want to delve deeper into these kinds of issues, so do y'all also know any articles that might be helpful? Thanks. :)

  • Where should I put my birdfeeder?

I bought a new birdhouse which I wedged between 2 thick branches of a tree. It's somewhat hidden by a few branches of leaves. So it's a secluded place near the side of my house. Do you think the birds would prefer that? And I hung my bird feeder on a branch from a tree in front of my bedroom window. I have only 2 trees that can accommodate the birdhouse and the feeder. My frontyard and my backyard are pretty much bare and I didn't have anywhere else to put the birdhouse or the feeder. Any ideas on where I should hang these two things instead of a tree? I couldn't find a pole anywhere while I was shopping at Walmart. lol

  • What is the difference between a whole note and a half note?

I"m a beginning piano player and I can't seem to figure out what's the difference between whole notes and half notes? If whole notes have the same distance as half notes, how do you tell when a note is a whole note or a half note?

  • Where can I get a new violin bow?

I have this old violin that's been locked up in my closet for several years and I'm thinking about selling it. The violin is in good condition and just needs to be tuned. The trouble is the bow. The hairs are so loose that some of it aren't attached anymore. and I have no idea where to get a new one to replace it or fix the old bow. Any ideas?

  • Is this how you say it in French?

I"m writing a poem in French. I want to say: When I hug you, I don't ever want to let go.

I wrote the verse in French: "Quand je t’étreins, je ne veux jamais à te lâcher."

    Did I write it correctly?

  • Where can I find native Macedonian speakers?

I'm learning macedonian online and I need a native speaker to help me with grammar. On my website, I'm not learning a lot when it comes to grammar and I can't seem to find a website that will help me with basic grammar rules. And for speaking, I've been looking everywhere around my school for native speakers but so far, I haven't had any luck. I don't really know where to go around my town to find native Macedonian speakers. I really want to learn Macedonian because the language and culture are so interesting to me. But lately, it seemed that I can't find any sources to help me with the language.

  • Letters missing from the macedonian alphabet?

I'm trying to learn Macedonian. Don't ask me why. I just think it's a unique language to learn. Anyways, I'm trying to learn the macedonian alphabet and notice that some letters are missing? Like, there's no W, X, Q or Y. Are they just not in the alphabet? If they're not, how will I be able to translate from English to Macedonian? Thanks.

  • Should I reply to her email?

I went to my teacher's office yesterday morning and left her a gift by her door while she wasn't here. Since I've never been to her office or knew where it was, I went in the morning to locate it. She saw me that time but I didn't have the gift with me then. Later, I went to her office again to drop off the gift when she wasn't there. Now I got an email from her saying that she got an anonymous gift from someone and asked if it was me (since she saw me that morning). She said that if it wasn't, she asked if I saw anyone leaving it by her door that day. I haven't replied to her email yet. I'm wondering if I should because I always heard people saying that once in a while, it's always nice to do something nice for someone anonymously. But they didn't say what I should do if the recipient of the gift gets suspicious. lol

  • In piano music sheets, what is am and pm?

I've been looking for piano music sheets for Richard Marx's "Right here waiting". Some of the sheets I found had signs written on them such as "am, pm, F, G, an C." What do those mean anyways? I'm a beginner. I can't seem to figure it out. lol. And I can't seem to find any easier version of the song that I can download for free. Can anyone help? I'd really appreciate it.

  • I have a problem in piano practice?

I'm a beginner in playing the piano and I just started learning a few weeks ago. Every time I practice a piece of music, halfway through, my mind goes blank. And I tend to space out and my vision goes a bit blurry. I have no idea why. I don't know if it's because I'm tired or if it's because I just don't know the bass clef notes enough. Is this normal??

  • What are the Christian views on sex before marriage?

I'm a Christian. I never had sex before. I'm not married. There were a couple times last year that I did sexual stuff because I was casually dating someone. Does that mean I already "had sex"? I know that sex before marriage is not allowed in Christianity but if I did sexual things when I'm not married (but I didn't have sex), does that mean (in Bible terms) that I already committed a crime as in God's eyes? Sorry, it gets confusing for me because I see things from different perspectives. lol

  • What does it mean when someone has class?

I know this is a stupid question. I know it has something to do with social status but does it mean that only rich people have class? Do people have to be well versed in a musical instrument to be considered as someone with "class"? I've no idea what it means when someone has class. lol

  • What do teachers do when students are having standardized testing?

I know that each year, students in public schools have to take a state standardized test. Well, since there are no lessons when students are taking those tests, what do teachers do during those days? I'm just really curious.
