  • ABS light on?

ABS light is on and when I tested the fuse under the cars hood with a circuit tester, it didn't light up. I installed a new fuse and tested again and the circuit tester light lit up just barely, not bright like the other fuses. Please help.

  • Car stalling and overheating.?

Car started off shuddering when going up hills at about 60-65 mph. Now the car is having the same problem but wants to stall when coming to a stop. It's also running hot (near red) and the AC turns on and off. No codes.

  • Will a CD from Amazon fit in a standard sized mailbox?

I live in an apartment and worried that someone might take any package that is delivered in front of my door. Has anyone purchased CD's from Amazon before? If so, did they send the CD in a package that can fit in a standard size mailbox? The seller must be Amazon, not someone that sells on Amazon. Thanks.

  • Mobile broadband slow to startup?

I have mobile broadband and recently I've started having issues with my internet browser (IE8) opening in a timely manner. I open Internet explorer after connecting and often times it says it connects but my homepage won't come up and the status bar moves extremely slow and eventually stops all together. I end up disconnecting and reconnecting and finally shut down and restart but it doesn't help. If I let my computer sit for about a half hour while connected I can open IE8 and the page opens like normal and the internet works like normal. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the laptop stick drivers but that doesn't help. It's worked fine in the past and I haven't made any changes to my computer. Any thoughts?

  • Windows 8 update issues?

I have a 32 bit computer that is going on 7 years old that had Windows XP media center edition loaded on it when I bought the computer.

Since XP will no longer be supported, I decided it was time to upgrade to the latest Windows operating system. I ran the Windows 8 upgrade advisor to see if my computer could run 8 and it said that it could so I did an online upgrade (no CD) and everything was great for a while. I turned off automatic updates because I have a metered mobile broadband connection and want to check for updates manually. About 80% of the time I have to run the Fix Windows Update utility because the updating will skip the downloading process and proceed to the preparing to install process where it gets stuck and I have to cancel.

I don't want to run the fix it utility everytime and I shouldn't have to. Funny they make a fix it utility for windows update as if they know that you're going to have problems. Never had problems with windows update on XP. Any thoughts? I'm thinking my computer is too old for 8.

  • Clutch pedal slowly returns?

Clutch pedal feels different than it used to. For about the last year there has been a light pop sound when the clutch pedal returns, most often when the car hasn't fully warmed up all the way. Now the pop noise is still there but the clutch pedal doesn't return as easily as it used to after pushing it in, like there is more resistance on the return than usual. I'm driving the car much less than I used to so maybe it just feels different to me. The car is 14 years old and the clutch was replaced for the first time 3 years ago. Any thoughts?
