innocent but deadly
I work at McDonald's and for the past week the GM puts me where I don't get to work with him. For instance, when he's up front, I'm in kitchen. Or simply in back drive thru. When it first happened, I threw a fit and yelled, "I hate you!" Now I'm just resigned to this thing. Just bc I like him doesn't make me obsessed. We all have preferences and favorite coworkers, right?8 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment2 weeks ago
98 is exactly twice her age. I told her she looks 98 years old and idk if it's ok or not. I only wanted her to become self conscious That's all.11 AnswersEtiquette3 weeks ago
I was born in 1989 and never stopped trick or treating and Easter egg hunting. coronavirus already ruined it all this year. It even cancelled the Easter egg hunt I was gonna partake in. I’m really worried about not getting candy this year.
Also, this Christmas, will Santa still deliver presents? Or will he either get scared off by coronavirus or get infected. I been a good girl this year and would really like to see Santa1 AnswerOther - Society & Culture1 month ago
I told my GM about it cuz it’s funny AF. Immediately after, I had a mental breakdown over it. He sent me on a second break bc of my breakdown. Is it normal?Other - Society & Culture1 month ago
That’s not only common, but it’s actually a rule of human interaction, right? After they stop liking you, it’s like how did they even last a few years liking you to begin with? Had a friend ever turned on you?1 AnswerOther - Society & Culture1 month ago

I work at McDonald’s and GM’s usually don’t work night shifts. Also, only one manager close each night. An hourly manager was scheduled to close that day (3-11 pm) and I said I want the GM to close. The GM already worked a full day shift. The hourly manager said I’m rude. I asked her how I was rude and she said, “I’m closing. Get over it.”
I wasn’t even talking about her. I was talking about the GM. How was I rude to her?11 AnswersEtiquette2 months ago
I rear ended a pick up truck because I was looking behind me for a minute or two. I didn’t see the truck directly in front of me. Do anyone else ever have that kind of accident?4 AnswersOther - Society & Culture2 months ago
I begged, pleaded, and reasoned for a few days and it didn’t work. IK a year ago he shaved his head and I scolded him. But I didn’t mean for him to go to the other extreme. Now he needs to shave his facial hair and slightly trim the hair on his head but I couldn’t convince him. What can I do?3 AnswersOther - Society & Culture2 months ago
After my supervisor at Arby's (who I looked up to) kicked me to the curb, I have suffered mental breakdown that caused me to lose my voice early in 2018. It wasn't until September last year that I could talk normal again. And she never gave a rats @$$ how I was doing. Someone I looked up to never wants to see me again. Reason? She got mad cuz I looked up to her.
I got over the incident itself, but the effect of it lingers on. At my current job, I keep worrying that other people will become like her. I become paranoid that my supervisor here is becoming like her, even though that may not be the case. I used to ask him why he brushed me off or whatever even though he hasn't actually ignored me. I been reigning it in for awhile, only for it to resurface a month ago.
I moved back home after 6 months of living on my own bc of my mental breakdown. My folks never stopped telling me I brought it onto myself and that I asked for it. My job developer says the same thing. That slowed down my recovery considerably.
Under this circumstances, when will recovery be possible?Psychology2 months ago
I been with McDonald's for 3 years and I remained just a crew. Over the last year or so, I applied for management twice but got declined both times. Does that mean not many people get accepted?
Yet, some 18 year olds got accepted into management training program the first time they applied. Are they just lucky?5 AnswersOther - Society & Culture3 months ago
Since swine flu (piggy viruses) turned ppl into pigs 10 years ago, doesn’t the same hold true for batty viruses?Other - Society & Culture3 months ago
It was complete with f bombs in front of several customers. I'm a crew member at McDonald's and during one of my shifts, 2 hourly managers (A and B) started arguing and it broke into a full fledged verbal spewing. A is one level below GM and B just completed her manager training program. A takes lots of things personally and B just happened to not do something exactly the way A wanted. After their fight, A walked out and screamed "I fvckin quit!" barely 2 hours into her shift. Another manager (C) ended up covering the remainder of her shift.
The GM, who was off that day, has been alerted of the incident and is expecting lots of customer complaints. What's gonna happen to the 2 managers? Some kind of a write up?6 AnswersLaw & Ethics3 months ago
