• Gigabit ethernet speeds in a laptop with no express card slot.?

I have dell inspiron N5110 which does not have an express card slot. It supports only speeds upto 100Mb/s but my ISP has 1Gb/s. Can I get gigabit speeds by buying any hardware?

My computer's smps was just replaced.(cmos battery was not yet replaced.) And my computer is booted by the repairer. It worked fine. But I needed to restart the computer after he just left. When I restarted, the cpu's fan started rotating and usual faint noise which comes just before booting came and it suddenly stopped and fan too stopped rotating after few seconds. Then, again fan started rotating but only for few seconds. And this keeps going on but computer fails to boot. I thing nothing is wrong with connections and power supply because when the professional was present, few minutes ago, it booted and worked perfectly. I pressed the restart button and then, it fails to boot. Plz help..
