  • i have a problem with slovin's formula?

ok. so here's the thing. in the regular slovin's formula you usually look for the sample size that you want to get. what if you are looking for the population and the sample size and the error of margin is already given.

here's what i mean (this is the problem i have to solve)

"A reaearcher plans to get 588 sample units from population N using a 4% margin of error. What is the value of N?"

I tried every possible way i know of to rearranging the formua. please. HELP!
