Can anyone identify an environmentally friendly, relatively safe solvent for adhesive residue removal?
I have tried rubbing alcohol and nail polish remover (acetone-based with other solvents) but the gummy residue left when so many of today's product labels or tapes are removed seem to resist them. Years ago, I used 1,1,1-trichloroethane before awareness of the ozone-pounding CFCs emerged. It worked perfectly! I need a source in Canada, BTW.4 AnswersCleaning & Laundry8 years ago
