If so, I may not be here much longer -- at least not under my current ID. Someone is getting way too much pleasure out of reporting.7 AnswersSenior Citizens7 years ago

The new format isn't as user friendly as the old format and I really don't like the changes at all! Do you have any ideas how I might let Yahoo know my opinion? I don't expect they'll care, but I'd like to have my say anyway.
Thanks. I probably won't be around much and I'll miss you all.3 AnswersSenior Citizens7 years ago
I hung a dozen small birdhouses, but I got them out a little late and the wrens had already made nests in the bushes around the porch. The birdhouses are all different and very nice looking, so I thought I'd just leave them out and hope the wrens would move in next spring. Now, I find that all of the houses are occupied by wasps. Any ideas will be welcome!6 AnswersGarden & Landscape7 years ago
I'm going to grill steak and chicken for Father's Day. My husband loves grilled vegetables and I'd like to have some different veggies for him. If you have other suggestions, I'll appreciate them.7 AnswersCooking & Recipes7 years ago

I accidentally learned who's been reporting my questions and answers. It's someone I always give thumbs up, someone I have liked, and who has now started reporting me in another category as well as SC. I kind of want to call the reporter out and ask "Why?" What would you do?9 AnswersSenior Citizens8 years ago
The groundhog apparently didn't see his shadow yesterday, so we should have an early spring. Based on your memory, how accurate is that likely to be?9 AnswersSenior Citizens8 years ago
I've just recently discovered the great taste of fresh pico de gallo and am looking for ways to use it. I've had it with sauteed baby spinach and I've had it with beans. How do you incorporate it into your meals? If you will also share your favorite pico de gallo recipe, I'll be grateful.5 AnswersCooking & Recipes8 years ago

Different regions and different cultures do different things.
We have ham, cooked cabbage (because it resembles money), black-eyed peas (to symbolize abundance), fried potatoes (just because we like them), and cornbread. There will be a clean shiny dime cooked in the cabbage. Whoever gets the dime will have good luck all year; it's guaranteed!
Then, the adults play poker while the older kids keep an eye on the younger ones.. The poker also brings good luck -- to at least one person. I still have the bagful of money I won last year.29 AnswersSenior Citizens8 years ago
Indiana is expected to get 7 - 10 inches of snow before tomorrow evening. I really wanted a white Christmas but I didn't expect quite so much white.
