  • How to prepare Wallpaper?

    Hi there

I stripped away old Laura Ashley paper. There is lining paper underneath it.

It looks like its in great condition. There are a few tears but I was going to fill them out smooth as possible.

What I'm asking is what next? I like to apply new Laura Ashley paper. But do I need to clean the lining paper first and what with? Do I need to apply PVA on the lining paper first before applying my new wallpaper?

Thanks guys. And I know Laura Ashley is ****! Just pleasing the wife!

    Cheers

  • How to help my daughter with her hair combing phobia?

    Hi there

My daughter is 8 years old. She will be 9 in December.

She has nits in her hair and requires constant care.

Her mother is very good at dealing with her hair problems so I let her deal with it.

But an issue has occurred that we have been constantly been talking about.

I believe our daughter has hair phobia. She is very nervous when it comes to combing her hair. She has very long hair and at times and gets knots. So we have to really comb her hair. She screams, shouts and even throughs tantrums!

I didn't know whether this was normal or not for an year old to scream with her needs combing.

We fear of taking her to the hairdressers.

Can anyone please give us advice?

    Many thanks

  • How to fix caulk crazing without raking it out?

    Hi there.

I'm painting my bedroom and caulked all along the ceiling edges. Left it to dry for a few hours and painted over it. An hour later the caulk showed clear signs of crazing through the paint!

I raked it out and began with a new caulk but same thing happened again!

    What can I do please?

I heard applying an oil undercoat might be the soloution?

    Thanks

  • Why does my erection go flat during sex?

Before you read below, please note that this is a serious question. Please no immature answers. Thanks

Hi there. My name is James and I m 28. My girlfriend is 28 as well. We have been seeing eachother for nearly a year and our sex life was great! 4 times a week on average.

To this day I am still attracted and very much in love with her.

But for the past couple of weeks we ve both noticed a difference in our sex. There have been at times during the week when I have an erection but during intercourse it gets flat and smaller. Why?

My girlfriend says she doesnt care and still loves me regardless of the situation. In a males perspective its quite frustrating and embarrassing for me. I have to watch porn with her to get my mojo back!

Is there a reason for this?

I keep asking myself is it because I keep worrying it s going to go flat again, are we having too much sex through out the week or am I just plain tired?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

  • How to deal with a temper child?

    Hi there

My name is James. I have met the girl of my dreams! She is brilliant and wonderful.

She has a wonderful 8 year old daughter.

I've been seeing her mum for months now and I am deeply in love with her and keep her daughter involved with everything.

I'm a very patient, calm man and Im brilliant with children as I'm a kids football coach and have many kid siblings.

Unfortunately I'm having issues with her daughter. Her daughter has been losing tempers, not listening to her Mum and basically does what she wants.

I hate to say this, but she's turning into a horrible child. She's lying about me being horrible and simply just being rude to us.

I have never raised my voice! Its not in my place to do that. We have tried everything to find out whats wrong with her.

I can only imagine, its me?

So can anyone help giving me some advice please? Many thanks

  • 26 and a virgin. What can I do?

    Hi there.

I have a friend who is 26. And he's still a virgin. Now is that a good or bad thing?

My friend has always been and desperately tried to find a woman that likes him. He thinks the 'only way' is to go to nightclubs. Well he's been trying for years and nothing has worked.

He puts on a brave face but I know it frustrates him.

He is a bit weird and strange at times of maybe doing too much or not enough to make that impression.

    His personalty:

Independent, original, analytical, and determined. Have an exceptional ability to turn theories into solid plans of action. Highly value knowledge, competence, and structure. Driven to derive meaning from their visions. Long-range thinkers. Have very high standards for their performance, and the performance of others. Natural leader, but will follow if they trust existing leaders.

Now I really don't know what to suggest for him now. I feel really sorry for him.

Girls just aren't interested in him.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

  • How do you paint with Black Gloss on Exterior Woodwork?

Hi I'm looking at painting my exterior Fascias outside black.

Had a Decorator come in and quote me for the job. I can't afford it, so Im going to do it myself.

The woodwork is not great. So I will be sanding it down, getting rid of the previous shine (of gloss) and then applying some oil based primer/undercoat.

    But what type?

Im wanting to paint my fascias in black gloss, so do I need to apply with a grey primer/undercoat before the black gloss?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
