• What’s an occupation that’s a lot more difficult than people think it is?

Best answer: Working in a mental health clinic in any capacity. Though a rare event, after a client commits suicide their file is seized and examined very carefully for mistakes. Your career may be on the line while you grieve the death of someone you may have gotten to know quite well. "Cold sweat" incarnate.

I am against going to doctors, and getting any kind of immunization, I have been like this for 20 years. I do not agree with immunizations. The nail thing isn’t too big of a thing but kinda controlling to me. It was a healthcare job but I already have a part time healthcare job in which I don’t have to get immunizations or anything and no one has gotten sick from me. What do you think? They wouldn’t even accept my belief that immunizations are wrong for me.

Should I tell them on the phone just in case they don't want me just for that reason or should I wait until the on site interview?

  • Can an employer ask you for your age?

Best answer: Yes, if they have a reason. For example, you must be 21 or over to sell alcohol, 18 or over to sign for deliveries, or 16 or over to operate certain machinery.

I am becoming very angry at this, and starting to feel extremely resentful because he is on salary, and I’m only making 15.00/hr. I have had no training for this job either, but I realize that this idiot for a manager knows nothing, and the little he has shown me is wrong. He is getting paid for my work, as he doesn’t do ****, but run around all day and play on the Internet. I’m doing waaaay too much. I’m looking for another job, but now I’m bitter and angry, I just moved here and I feel like he’s wasted my time. Plus, there’s not many jobs around here. And it’s Christmas.

  • Can you ask for a first pay up front at a new job?

Is there a name for this "agreement"? For example this could be a thing among economic migrants so they have money for rent.

Not only can you not make a decent living from these jobs (or even a poverty living!) these jobs are ridiculously fast and stressful. I need something much slower paced.

I feel that people should not be all buddy buddy at work . And that conversations should be kept short , simple and only relate to work. For example : "Could you please pass me the stapler?" Instead of "What are your weekend plans?" Or for another example : I'd see it way too inappropriate for a supervisor to invite a co-worker over to "hangout" or play video games. Also it weirds me out for co-workers and supervisors to send Facebook friend requests . Personal lives should be kept separate from work. Does all of what I am saying , make sense ?

  • What do you think of my career-plans this time?

However, everyone tells me that's a really bad idea. It's mainly for teachers who want to work part-time; plus Khan academy is offering this for free. c) Prayer-Group. I can set up a new age website, and get people from other countries to join in prayer, in order to invoke angles and the Holy Spirit. If I can 10 people together at $3 each/hour, that equals $1,800/month. I can move, get a $400 apartment in Kansas. d) Computer Support-Technician. Salary is $16/hour after some time. e) Social Services Assistant. Salary seems to be between $30,000 to $34,000. f) Apartment Manager. Salary is $35,000. At least, I can get a free apartment. __________ Advice Please. What should I do? Thank You.

  • Request 1 day off at new job!?

I am starting a new job in a new state 2 weeks before Christmas and did not know if it would be bad to request 1 day off? We get the 26th off, but I need the 27th off as well. I want to go home to spend Christmas with family. Would this look bad for a new hire?
