• Is it daft to travel 40 mins to get food?

There is this street food place that does steak and chips. It looks amazing and I've been wanting to try it out for a while. The only thing is i have to travel 40 mins on public transport to get there. Is it daft to travel all that way just for that?

Normally, with good weather, most of my anxiety goes away but as soon as it rains and especially thunderstorms I get major anxiety. I've read online that planes don't land in thunder storms or wait for the worst to pass but is that the same in Russia and Aeroflot? P.S I'm scared of severe turbulence, I've had it once and it was one of the scariest moments I've felt.

Hi everyone, I'm in my twenties female post-secondary student. I love to travel to different countries, attending cruises, and boats. I've never been on a cruise or boat but I would love to. On the other hand, my mother doesn't like to travel and wants to stay in same place (her house and her city) without roaming to other countries because she says that it's not a big deal and its the same experience of looking at water, building, and other malls. I honestly disagree with my mother because travelling opens my eyes about myself and I love going to different places and being exposed to different cultures. Do I need to get rid of the travelling aspirations or not? Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

Since our daughter is starting school this year, he suggested I use a week of my vacation time to go with our daughter. However: 1. There's no decent flights. Everything that's within budget is next day arrival with huge layovers. 2. It's not really fair to our other children if only one goes. A colleague I spoke to about finding better flights thinks we should wait until next year and go as a family (provided he gets his mess straightened out). Or, I could start planning earlier to find better flights.

  • Is it relatively easy to fly to Europe (perhaps Turkey), and rent a car or motorcycle and do this?

Best answer: You need an unrestricted motorcycle endorsement and an International Driver's Licence. To find out about renting in Turkey and travelling around Europe just look up motor cycle rental companies operating in Turkey and read their regulations.

I would love to travel Europe mainly because of the culture, food and scenery. I would really like to go to Grenada next year but trying to convince my parents would probably be impossible. For those of you who like to travel alone, what tips would you have for a newbie and also what places would you recommend?

there are usually two packs that have a straw, a pack of sugar, and one powdered creamer.
I usually bring extra sweetener and creamer. most of the time there is some kind of coffee service in the lobby for complimentary coffee. but not always.
