Best answer: yes but all mobo's for the last 10 years or more support usb booting but there are a few extra things to know. pressing F12 intercepts the boot devices menu, so you dont have to change the bios usually just tap f12 at start and that should allow you to tell the boot process to boot the usb stick. In order to make a usb stick bootable you need to PREP it which is a special process that a special program does for you. you cannot just COPY files you think you need. This is because its made to emulate a CDrom which has two sessions on it, the Floppy disk image and the cd image which contains the OS files. After you have used the USB install and if you want your usb back to normal, you have to UNPREP it using the special program. there are lots of special programs, HP written ones, Linux ones, microsoft ones, all sorts. eg RMPrepUSB, UnetBootIn, etc etc.

  • Is 75 degrees Celsius under a load too hot for an nvidia gtx 1080?

The other day, I noticed my graphics card getting a bit hot, got up to 86 C, so I put a large fan inside the case below the graphics card. Now it usually gets up to about 75 to 77 C. It s that still too hot?

Titan Xp and the Titan V

The original Titan X Pascal, which is different from the Titan Xp, is a tiny bit slower than the GTX 1080ti.

Usually it makes more sense to buy an overclocked GTX 1080ti like the EVGA FTW3 because those are close to, or match the Titan Xp. The normal price for a card like the FTW3 or the Asus Strix was about $800-850, which made it a better deal than a $1200 Titan Xp. With retailers charging $1100 for these higher end GTX 1080ti cards, you might as well step up and buy the Titan Xp. The only drawback to the Titan Xp is the Founder's Edition cooler is rather poor.

The Titan V on the other hand is using the newer Volta architecture and with 12gb or HBM2 memory, the GTX 1080ti or Titan Xp can't compare to the Titan V. The only saving grace here is the Titan V costs $3000 and all you're getting is 30% more performance over the GTX 1080ti.

The reason the GTX 1080 and GTX 1080ti are priced so high is because ZCash miners wiped out the stock of these cards between January to early March. About a month ago, the ROI for these miners increased to levels that make it difficult for these miners to make their money back.

  • If I format my SD card as internal storage do I keep my original phones internal storage too? Or does all that get wiped?

Best answer: They are separate storage devices entirely. The process states that it is specific to the internal sd card. This is your assurance to proper results. The process does not indicate that it will also perform randon formatting of any and or all formattable media that it can seek out.
