I’m just wondering if there’s anyone else’s in a similar situation and if so, did you put your bf on child support? He moves from job to job so that’s what was keeping me from putting him on it. He’s usually really good at making sure the baby has everything she needs (needs, keep that in mind). Sometimes since he lives 40 mins away he can’t get the babies stuff right away, so now she is down to her last few diapers and he’s on his way. I’d much rather have a card and just not have to wait last minute, and get things that I like for the baby. I’ve told him since Sunday that she needs diapers. He doesn’t live with us, gets off work late, and I get that. But even more reason for a child support card.

I’m kinda worried about her!

This is all over her head in the front, not the back when I come through her hair with a fine-tooth comb a lot of flakes come off. I'm not sure if this is cradle cap or dandruff. There are also big ones that look like corn flakes, some of them I peel them off of her scalp with my fingernails she is only 2 months old, and her head and part of her forehead smell very bad, even when I wash with baby shampoo the smell won't go away or the flakes. Should I use selsun blue shampoo for her or is she too young.

  • My baby is 1 month old and can hold his own bottle is this normal?

Best answer: At a month old, I was happily cuddling my babies while we cuddled and they had mommy milk. My fourth is nine days old and as I type, he is enjoying mommy milk. I don't recall them independently grasping objects until they were at least six months old.

Best answer: If the Calpol doesn't bring baby's fever down OR she's had a fever of 103 degrees F (39.4 degrees C) or higher, she needs to go straight to the doctor or urgent care. If her temp is lower than that and responds to medication, it's less worrisome. What you should focus on now is keeping her hydrated. It's okay if she doesn't eat much for a day or two, even young toddlers can manage without much food for a little while as long as they're well hydrated.

If they sell Pedialyte where you live, try giving her 1-2 oz at a time and see if she can keep it down for an hour. If she does then try giving her a little more. Pedialyte is a name brand but really any oral electrolyte solution from your pharmacy will do. The electrolytes will help her hydration, and the sugar in it provides at least a small amount of calories until she's ready to eat some food again. If she does okay with the Pedialyte you can try other clear fluids such as broth or juice, and once she goes 8 hours without vomiting you can try a little bit of solid food.
