  • Why is it racist for a white person to say the N word?

Best answer: In the 1800's, they said it to degrade them. The name, in latin, literally means nothing. To say it in today's standard means you are referring to them as nothing, or as a slave. However, for some reason, black people like to say it to each other, which is something I will never understand.

Best answer: Columbus is given credit because his "discovery", although not first, was well publicized and led to continuous interaction between Europeans and the New World. • Why did the Chinese attack Pearl Harbor if they knew that it would draw America into World War II?

Best answer: The Japanese attacked Peal Harbor nimrod.

I think the Japanese were overly confident. They wanted to invade the Philippines and probably Hawaii because they wanted to control the Pacific. The attack on Peal Harbor was really an attempt to destroy a large chunk of the US Navy

  • Why are we considered adults when we're 18 in the United States?

Is it because of the American Civil War, the American Revolution, or some other historical event that made us considered adults when we're 18 in the United States? I heard in Cuba you're an adult when you're 16.

I am not German but it is remarkable to me how they keep getting knocked down and refuse to stay there. The Germans have been knocked down several times in the last 200 years but they keep coming back up. When it comes to France, it is without a doubt that ever since Friedrich Wilhelm took office that Germany has had some influence in France. Even now, one can see how the German bureaucrats and europhiles are much better prepared and stable then the shouts and sloppiness of the French. The Italians, Spaniards and other latin countries are soaked in poverty and corruption. The Dutch are well off but only because of their economic ties with Germany and, of course, the Slavic world is still where it is. The Germans are also very good when it comes to standard of living and education. Impeccable! What's also interesting is that even though they strongly indoctrinate new generations against Nazism and make them feel the guilt of their ancestors, there is still this 'Reich' mentality in Germany. There is still "Deutschland uber alles", it is not as loud, of course, it is still there. It was there when they won the world cup, it was there when they conquered Europe again in the early 2000s, And It's always there when Francois Hollande pathetically follows Merkel's orders. I am not anti-German, I am quite fascinated by them.

  • How do Americans learn about the holocaust?

I know that they teach that the holocaust was a horrible thing and that the Germans are ashamed of it, but I want to know when the Americans learn about the holocaust if they take trips to Europe(especially Poland because that is where some of the concentration camps are) to see what it is like.
