  is reciting a story from memory

  and can also include making up a story on the spot.

  Reading aloud

  is obviously easier

  because the words of the story are there in front of you.

  Like anyone who appears ions on film, he would have worn makeup to keep his skin colors looking natural under studio lights.  he probably also used some to enhance his look so that his features would stand out better when he was on a stage in front of a large crowd.  Most performers do.

  Why should I be paying billions of dollars to study music theories when YouTube gives it away for free?

  They're only theories anyway. We've got BachScholar on YouTube. The People's Pianist. Makes the music easy and approachable. And the pandemic has now shown us how unnecessary college is. It's a multi billion dollar business in frivolity.

  Can I get more fingers put on?

  SO. I play guitar, bass, and a little bit of keyboards (piano) but I was thinking if people can get new noses and heart transpalnts, can I get a couple more fingers? It would make me a better guitar/keys player and hell people may pay to see it live. Like theres the guitar guy who got 14 fingers?

  Is playing guitar fun?

  I want to get an acoustic guitar(Yamaha f280(made now in India)) and learn to play by my own watching videos on YouTube...do you think it could be fun? I'm 30 btw...and is it a waste of money or can it be of any use in the future?

  How do most people become musicians? (process)?

  Whether or not they write their own materials I mean like do you have to have money saved up for studio sessions? and what if you don’t come from a musical background of musicians except for yourself how do you become a musician? (list of key requirements) what expectations do you have to meet as a musician?

  Hard to get a place at a good school/college, many years of very hard work if you did get a place, followed by many years of getting unpaid experience afterwards, and then decades of fighting to get even a tiny role in any professional production.

  Does it make sense to gift a guitar to a 16 yr old trumpet player?

  My grandson plays trumpet and enjoys playing with his dad.  His dad also has a guitar and I wonder if they would enjoy playing guitar together without asking them.  They are both genius types.  Not sure if I would be able to return it if he really doesn't have the interest and thinks he never will.

  Do I need a pick to play guitar?

  I taught myself guitar, and I’ve always just finger picked without a pick. 

  I’m starting up guitar again :) I’m trying out some new sounds. But after watching many YouTube videos I’ve noticed all of them use a pick. Should I try to learn how to use a pick? Or should I still be able to produce a close enough sound with no pick ?

  Would you start practicing drums at age 30+?

  "dont listen to the nay sayers" - Arnold, there alot of "realistic thought" that is actually negative thought as part of the group way of thinking 

  Also there's something to be said of practising alot in a go over doing a little over the long term I can get better at gaming if I go all out for a month than I can doing a little for a year

  Dont be afraid of failure- Arnold, if you fail give up and move onto the next thing, and the next who cares ull eventually find something that will succeed  (arnold is a failed power lifter and there were other things)

  Dont be a pu,ssy no one will care when u r dead, no one cares now its all bs in your head, how much do u care about what others do? Dont apologise about your behaviour its beta male behaviour to do that , to not want to rock the boat , and ull regret it when you are an old man looking back

  You sound liek you have delusional lack of self belief , some women are very skinny and they think they are fat, some men are very big and think they are small, you sound like you are very talented and think you are untalented WAKE UP TALENT

  A good beginner electric guitar?

  My boyfriend and I moved about 1,500 miles from home a year ago. We only took what we could fit in our cars, and he decided he had to sacrifice taking his guitar over other necessary items. He was somewhat new about to guitar, but had been teaching himself chords and songs for over a year and got pretty good. I want to get him a somewhat decent, but beginner electric guitar + amp like he had back home. Where should I start brand wise? I don’t know too much about guitars. I realize electric probably isn’t the way to start, but that’s what he really liked using opposed to my father’s acoustic I own.
