I've been coughing for almost 2 months. ?
I have bad allergies but like allergy pills aren't working? Maybe it's not allergies. I don't know. I don't smoke or do any drugs. I've seen a doctor before and he thought it was sinus infection gave me a prescription of amoxicillin. That didn't help at all asking for more opinions before going back to the doctor. And before anybody asks no I don't have any covid-19 symptoms. I've been wearing a mask to work anyways

Why does peanut butter make me feel like I'm going to throw up?
I love the taste of peanut butter, but it always makes me feel sick after eating it. I do not have a peanut allergy, as I can eat regular peanuts just fine. It is just peanut butter that makes me feel like I might throw up. I have never actually thrown up from it. Why does this happen?

Allergic to my glasses frames 😐 think I could paint them with any sort of clear finish/sealer to keep my hypersensitive self from reacting?
Who the hell knew that this is actually a thing?! My eyes and ears become very irritated when I wear my glasses or any sunglasses/blue light shades. I don’t know what specifically causes these reactions, but some people are allergic to certain materials and chemicals in the plastic frames.
This may be a really stupid question..,but I know people with horrible pet dander allergies are sometimes advised to paint their walls every year to help reduce the dander....so maybe if I paint my frames with some sort of sealer, it could help?
😂 I have NO idea if that would work to seal away the chemicals or **** like VOCs coming off the plastic? 🙈
...but would sealers and finishes contain harsh chemicals too?
I would just buy new hypoallergenic frames, but this pandemic broke my bank account.
Looking for a cheap DIY alternative if it can be done!

Why do neti pots sometimes make my sinus problems worse?
Favourite answer:You want the water to be close to body temperature. Clean the pot with dish detergent and hot water before every use. Depending on the water purity where you are, you may be advised to use distilled water. Add the salt in pre-measured packets or use a mix of sea salt and baking soda, 1/3 teaspoon for every eight ounces of water.
Gravity should allow all the water you poured in to pour out again within a couple of minutes at the most. If you can still feel water in there, try gently blowing your nose or creating suction where the nasal passage enters the throat.

Why am I allergic to egg whites?
Favourite answer:Everyone is different, people have different sensitivies. i for example am allergic to a certain antibiotic. It doesn't mean that antibiotic is not healthy or good for you, it just does mean it's not good FOR ME.
Same in your case. As a Dietitian, yes, egg whites can be a good source of protein, but if you are allergic to them, they aren't good for you.
Why do allergies happen? there are a few theories about it but the point is: you are allergic to this and only thing you need to do is avoid it.

say your allergic to peanuts and somehow you ended up stranded in the desert for months. You've been starving and your dying. Someone finds you but they can only give you peanuts to eat. Would eating those peanuts still kill you or is starvation the cure for peanut allergies?

Does a single allergy shot help with allergies?
I went to the doctor for allergies and she ended up giving me a steroid shot to treat the allergies. I was expecting to get better medication. Does one shot improve anything? She said it’d take a few hours to a day to kick in. I thought shots are for long term.

Fiancé allergic to pecans but can drink Dunkin’ Donuts butter pecan mix??
Favourite answer:simple. look at the ingredients. I would bet there is very little if any pecans in it.
Most of the flavorings they use are not what u think. Just look it up you will see what i mean. It is a bunch of chemicals and no real flavors or ingredients. All artificial flavors.
That is also why DD (which is garbage) is so cheap.
Also you can look up all that stuff on DD website. They by law have to post ingredients.

Can You become allergic to a food you never ate?
I wanna try seafood but aside from eating Tuna 20 years ago , I’ve never had any. Will I be allergic or have an intolerance to it since it’s been so long since I’ve had it? My fiancé eats seafood and I don’t notice any issues being around it/kissing her afterwards. I’m just worried that since I’ve never really had it, my body will reject it.

What happens if you never use body wash?
Favourite answer:Same girl. You should switch to a hypoallergenic soap bar. Some hypoallergenic soaps still make be break out in hives, but there's a sulfur soap I bought that really calms my skin. Usually soaps meant for dermatitis and poison ivy and things will calm your skin.
.
If you don't wash your body you could get bacne, chest acne, fungal infections, weird odors, etc. You can wash your body with just water some days if you need to, but you still need soap every now and again.

Why do I feel sick hours after eating dairy? ?
Everything I can find online says that symptoms of lactose intolerance come on 30 minutes to 2 hours after eating it, but I don't feel sick until much longer than that. It's usually between 9 and 18 hours that I'll start feeling it. I get nauseated, cramping, diarrhea. It is just normal lactose intolerance or is something weird? I mostly wonder because of the length of time.
Side note: I do think I have an issue with casein as I tried non dairy creamers but they made me sick too and I checked the bottle and it had casein in it for some reason.
