I am not sure about the best but I can tell you from personal experience, I downloaded Weather Bug on 2 occassions on 2 separate computers. Not only did it slow my computers down many time it locked them up so I have to continue to start and restart my computer.

These were brand new computers, one was bought last year at the end of the year. Once I tool Weather Bug off each one, I had no more problems.

You could try the Weather Channel or my local weather/news stations offers about the same thing. Both are free I believe.

    Best of luck to you....

Being in the UK, you have a rather talented national meterological organization. Their website is http://www.met-office.gov.uk/ and probably has the best weather information available. Some private organizations also like to broadcast weather, although most use the national UKMet information as a reference, so this is likely your best starting point.

I also like www.wunderground.com (for local forecasts and radar) They generally retrieve reports from several local sources near you, so things like wind speed should be relatively accurate. The site has a tendency of being very slow at times.

www.weather.com (the weather channel's site) is where I go for my hurricane info and updates.
