It depends upon how adventurous you are. I am an American who has been to India twice and I like to do it the hard way. Which is the bus. It is much more difficult to find people who speak English at bus stops. So it takes a lot more time and there is always some doubt until you actually get to your destination. And sometimes,if it is the first time, you can't even be sure then. So the easiest surest way is to take a taxi. I call them shark pools outside hotels and airports, places like that. You just walk down the line until you find someone who understands English and even then nothing is certain.I like to walk a block away from the pack of them where it is quieter. It also helps if you can find someone who knows how much it shoulf cost because, like I said,it's a real shark pool. But It's lots of fun. As long as you have plenty of time there is no problem. Time and patience.
