Well i was using windows vista till yesterday, and of course i was using xp for the past 6 years, but i had a dell that came with vista, but i got rid of it, then i was back with windows xp and then i built a new computer, i put vista on it and my nvidia drivers wouldnt work with vista, so i got pissed off with seeing error messages coming from games saying i couldnt play it because of a driver, so i re-installed xp yesterday and i forgot what i was missing, i can play anything now with ease, and the computer boots up faster.
A lot of people still use windows xp, like banks, call centres etc. So i think there is still a long enough life for xp, well i think it will last until windows 7 comes out ..... unless windows 7 is as crap as vista.
edit: i forgot to say there, my brothers girl bought a toshiba laptop from pc world, with vista home premium on it, and a lot of things "has stopped working" if you use vista youll see that a lot, and she has also got the blue screen of death lol, so i still think its unstable.
