How does music affect our brain?

Are there any certain types of music that could be, in any way, bad for the brain?

Anything too loud is bad for your hearing, and many songs can put you in the wrong mentality, but I don't think any is particularly bad for the brain.

I don't recommend death metal or gangsta rap though.

I don't like the squeaky music (sorry that the best way i can describe it) its quite disturbing, and depressing.

just jazz as it's generally five guys playing different songs at the same time...this could cause an embolism or epileptic seizures

Cauntry, rap, jazz, reggae, death metal, those horrible ballads nowadays and easy listening give me a headache.
