THANKS TO THE WESTER COUNTRIES WE HAVE A WRONG IMAGE OF THE ARYANS!
(ACCORDING TO THE LATEST SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE THE FORFATHERS OF THE HOMO SAPIENS (US HUMANS), THE HOMO ERECTUS ORIGINATED IN AFRICA!
SO WE ALL ARE ACTUALLY AFRICANS RIGHT?)
THE WORD ARYAN HAS ITS ORIGIN IN SANSKRIT, MAX M√úLLER TOOK THE WORD FROM THE VEDAS, THE AUTHORS OF THE VEDAS CALLED THEMSELVES "ARYA" WHICH MEANS "NOBLE". THEY LIVE IN THE AREA WHICH MAKES TODAYS INDIA, IRAN,AFGHANISTAN AND PAKISTAN. THEY WERE NO BARBARIANS AS THE WESTERN "WHITE ARYANS" SAY... SEE ALL THOSE CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE ARYANS AND THEIR SUCCESSORS IN SCIENCE, PHILOSOPHY, ASTRONOMY, MEDICINE ETC... CAN THAT BE FROM BARBARIANS???
THERE ARE STILL NO PROOFS FOR ALL THOSE "ARYAN THEORIES" OF THE WEST...
WE SHOULD STOP MISUSING AND INSULTING THE NAME OF THE ANCESTORS OF THOSE NATION.
to ARYAN-DRAVIDIAN theory which the british used during the colonial era:
Recent studies of the distribution of alleles on the Y chromosome microsatellite DNA, and mitochondrial DNA in India have cast overwhelmingly strong doubt for a biological Dravidian "race" distinct from non-Dravidians in the Indian subcontinent. The only distinct ethnic groups present in South Asia, according to genetic analysis, are the Balochi, Brahui, Burusho, Hazara, Kalash, Pathan and Sindhi peoples, the vast majority of whom are found in today's Pakistan.

A greatly exaggerated theory? I think not. It makes perfect sense, no matter how much the Hindutva revisionist historians try to refute it. North Indians DO tend to have lighter skin and hair because they have the blood of the Aryan invasion (migration?) in them. If genetically they had never had a new transfusion of blood, how then do you explain the difference in looks? It certainly wouldn't have happened on its own, as the Indus Valley peoples were dark skinned, as the people of the lower subcontinent are. How do you explain that the Vedic religion and the Indo-European language suddenly pop up in Indian history? If they Indus Valley Civ was writing, we would have seen the development of Sanskrit, and we probably wouldn't include India in the Indo-European language group. Sure, Indian culture is unique, but it was influenced by this people group. It's like saying that the Celtic culture of Britian was not influenced by the Anglo-Saxons. If truth be told, every culture in the world, everybody's history, was developed through multi-faceted influences. It's not like the Aryans of the invasion (migration?) were anything like their ancestors who came over with the East India Company. They were a completely different culture, and there is definitely no way that Indian culture was once a global culture. Cultures developed uniquely in different parts of the globe. Sometimes, as a historian, I curse those stupid Romantics who made nationalism so popular.

The Aryan theory is BULLSHIT. Britishers propagated it for dominance and to divide and rule. Indians are smart, they don't need some Aryan genes to be so. Arya in sanskrit means Nobel, great or the knowledgeable. Do you know the so called swastika the Aryan symbol of Nazi's was stolen from India like many others, it is the swastik.

Actually we are a mix of Africans, afghans and other neighboring races very near the sub continent. so people living in northern parts of India are taller and fairer and people of south India are darker. Not all "North Indians are fair and not all south Indians are dark". The day we stop saying North Indian and South Indian, we will be Indians, that is what we are INDIANS and we happen to live in northern or southern parts of INDIA.

The caste system was made to divide labour. It made it easier to maintain the flow of economy, later they made the occupation hereditary coz, the higher caste always enjoyed the privileges and exploited the lower castes. caste is not something you are born into... it is what you are made to believe as you grow up. When we are born we are free, as we grow up we put shackles on our brains and conscience. coz we Indians go bananas when we see fairer skinned people, we made fair looking people the upper caste. they were given power for the colour of their skin, it does not mean any dark looking person is any less than the fairer ones.

Indian culture is ORIGINAL, not stolen form other past cultures like a few new cultures. I believe it to be the oldest culture or probably it was the world culture at a point of time, but the evidence is lost.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ARYAN CULTURE, THERE IS ONLY INDIAN CULTURE. PLEASE OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE. WE FOLLOW THE SAME CALENDER, (LUNAR OR SOLAR) WE HAVE THE SAME FESTIVALS (CELEBRATED ONE DAY LATER OR EARLIER). WE PERFORM THE SAME RITUALS IN DIFFERENT VEDIC STYLES AND WE BELIEVE IN THE SAME GODS.

WE ARE INDIANS, NOT NORTH INDIAN OR SOUTH INDIANS. The day we stop differentiating ourselves this way we can actually make India a better place to live in with our combined efforts. This is what Britishers have done, the have divided us and we continue reap the seeds they have sown. WAKE UP INDIA, IT IS HIGH TIME.

have both friends who live in north and southern part of our country and have seen the same festivals and rituals performed with slight difference and found that it is due to conveniently available resources. read a lot of books related to this theory, watched a lot of programs regarding this theory.

There should not be any doubt about the anthropological correctness of this theory. It is a historical fact that Aryans had difficulty crossing the Vindhya Range in Central India to move on to Southern parts of the subcontinent.

One theory claims that Aryans originated from Central Asia, one stream of Aryan wandered towards the Indian subcontinent, the other group travelled towards modern day Europe. This aptly explains the sharp grammatical similarity between Sanskrit and German langauge.

And instead of Aryans, the correct word to be used is 'Indo-Europeans'

  • The Aryan Invasion Theory?
    A greatly exagerrated theory
It basically states that all north indians are aryan and all south indians and lower caste are dravidian.
Now, there was a migration of Aryan from Central asia, who got separated from their iranian counterpart. They came into india and actually mixed with the local people(dravidians). They influenced the culture of India with their language (indo aryan sanskirt) and religious elements. North Indian are called Indo Aryans because they were highly influenced by aryans culture wise and many north indians have traces amounts of aryan blood in them. (many high caste but possibly some low caste as well)
The Dravidians are all the people of india you see everyday. They differ from their adivasi counterparts who live in isolated parts of india.
The many dravidians from south india have mixed with the australoid adivasis. But they were able to keep their original culture.

    There, this is the truth.
