Try to download, install, update and run a free antivirus first - http://free.avg.com/ww-en/download-avg-a%E2%80%A6 comes to mind (AVG). Alternatives are Avast! and Avira, maybe others I do not know of.

You might have malware (not necessarily captured by the AV) on your computer. Try a free software like SpyBot S&D or Malwarebytes Anti-malware (http://www.malwarebytes.org)./ Again, install, update and run to clean any malware/spyware etc.

If this worked fine, you might want to stay protected - make sure to keep your AV software up-to-date and the same for the anti-malware. Activate the firewall on your computer (in the Windows options), and you should be fine. You could try to get the full version of Malwarebytes Anti-malware for its IP blocker and scheduled scans/updates options (you can purchase it as a one-time-fee, get a Malwarebytes coupon code shared by other users from http://news.dtcdeals.com/malwarebytes-co%E2%80%A6 to save at checkout).

Worst case scenario, you will need to reinstall the software on your laptop - the original docs should guide you through that. Good luck!
