QR = 10, RS = 14, SQ = 16, TU = 6, find the perimeter of triangle TUV.

QR/TU = RS /UV = SQ / VT

QR / TU = RS / UV

=> 10 / 6 = 14 / UV

=> UV = 8.4

similarly

VT = 16*6/10 =9.6

therefore

perimeter = TU + UV + VT = 6 + 8.4 + 9.6 = 24

so

perimeter of QRS/perimeter of TVU = QR/TU --------(1)

perimeter of QRS =10+14+16=40

let perimeter of TVU be X

from (1)

40/X =10/6

X=24

perimeter of TUV = 24
