Depending on your activity level, lifestyle, age, weight, metabolism ect...

If you lift on a regular basis try this...

Always take the recommended dose and never more, in this case more is not better.

    - A protien shake first thing in the morning with one 5ml scoop of glutamine. If you are lifting or not, no excuses. You need protien first thing in the morning, your body is in a catobolic state, your muscles are breaking down behind the scenes.

This will prepare your metabolism for the day.

    - If you are lifting that day, you can take an amino acid supplement then as well. If you do drink a full glass of water after to help your kidneys and liver process everything.

If you don't add extra amino acids in the morning, you can take an amino acid suppplement with Glutamine or Glutamine with a protien shake prior to your workout 1 - 2 hours before. Then have another shake with Glutamine after your workout, along with that mix in a scoop of BCAA powder. This is the most crucial time to take BCAA's. You will NOT like the taste, but you will like the results.

Very important little trick. Post workout, right after training and about 1/2 hour - 1 hr before your meal eat try to consume a small snack with a high gi level (like watermelon slices). Too long to explain (look it up yourself though) but basically eating food with a high gi level post workout helps to get the protien to the muscles and cells faster.

Then, before bed have a shake (with Glutamine) and mix it with about 1/2 to 1 tablespoon of flax oil. The flax oil will slow the digestion of the shake down, slowly releasing the protien (amino acids) into your body while you sleep and recover.

When you wake up (see top - shake in the monrning) start over again.

VERY IMPORTANT : Ensure you take a 50 or 100 mg B complex vitamin with B6 in it. Or just a B6 and B2 vitamin. This is very important if you are taking amino acids or BCAA's. B6 (and B12) help process amino acids and BCAA's.

IF YOU DON'T TAKE B VITAMINS ALONG WITH AMINO ACIDS AND BCAA'S YOU RISK THE CHANCE OF CONTRACTING GOUT ! Not cool !

    Hope this helps.

Diabetes is usually treated through a combination of diet (low sugar), exercise and medications/insulin. Milder cases can be controlled with just diet an/or exercise while more severe cases require meds or insulin as well.

I split mine up in two doses, once in the morning and once in the evening. I do this just to maintain a more stable level in my system. Just follow the recommended doesage on the container and split that in half. I never use quite as much as they tell you to because you get much of that same stuff through your regular diet.
