Best day for Ganapathi Abhisheka Pooja?

I have heard that full moon days are good and days with moon reducing or no moon is not auspicious. So what is the best day to have an abhisheka pooja for lord ganapathi?

'Abhishekam' means bathing the god with five things. It is done every day to all gods. The five items used in 'Abhishekam' are milk, ghee, honey, curd, and sugar-cane juice or fruit juice. The above items are called 'pancha amruthams'. After this the god is cleansed with fresh water. Next the god is decorated with clothes, 'chandan' and 'kumkum', flowers, prayers are offered, cooked food is offered, served with betel leaf and nuts, then 'araathi' done.

If you wish to do it on any particular day you can choose monday & wednes day.
