Molar mass Fe = 55.84g/mol
Fe2 = 55.84*2 = 111.68
Molar mass Fe2O3 = 159.69g/mol
Conversion factor = 111.68/159.69 = 0.699
The conversion factor is 0.699 ( you could most probably happily work with 0.7
Using Example: Mass of Fe2O3 in sample = 57.4g
Mass of Fe in sample = 57.4*0.7 = 40.18g

You can have several conversion factors
1 Fe2O3 molecules = 2 atoms Fe
1 mole Fe2O3 = 2 moles Fe
160 g Fe2O3 = 112 g Fe

All you need to do, is apply the conversion factor. The conversion factor for Fe2O3 is 1.4298
element percent = oxide percent /conversion factor
Assuming you know the element percent and you need to convert it the oxide percent,
then, oxide percent = element percent x conversion factor
