CAVET petition means.. requesting the court not to pass any judgement before giving notice to the applicant. [Who files the CAVET ]
HABIAS CORPUS ... means requesting the court to produce a missing man or woman before the court. .

I think you mean "Civet." A Civet petition requests the court adjudicate the possession of a small wild cat. A petition concerning "Habias Corps" concerns the Habias Corporation.
