is hero sprint next really a mtb bike?
It says its a mtb bike
but i dont believe it.
Even if its not
can i use this bike for medium light mountain off road riding ? ;-)

I wouldn't use that bike for anything more strenuous than dropping off a curb. And even then I would be real careful to be out of the saddle to soak up as much impact as possible with my legs instead.
And if you do stay on roads, the horrible suspension will steal a lot of pedalling energy from you.
You're far better of finding a better, rigid bike instead of that sorry example of misguided marketing.

This sort of bike is pretty much useless for anything. They are not suitable for anything but a smooth unpaved road, but the mushy suspension will suck up your pedaling energy like a black hole. The low end components will be continually going out of adjustment and wearing out, and the bike will be heavy enough to make a good boat anchor. Waste of money

going with 'no' here
you can try it
but the wheels will be weak and subject to failing
suspension will be worse than useless
all parts will operate poorly and possibly break at bad times
