This tolerance for the religions of others is fundamental to America.

Our religious tolerance is under assault by some religions that, at least covertly, advocate violence, even to the point of murder, to impose their religious beliefs on other people or prevent them from harmlessly practicing their own religions.

My proposal is simple -- let us amend the Constitution to require that all religions peacefully tolerate other religions or be banned from the United States and their violent adherents deported or imprisoned.

If you wish to, please argue the case for your position --
Update: the question relates to organized religions that advocate violence, NOT to individual behaviors of violence. Individual violent behaviors are already punishable by law -- which isn't part of the discussion I want to propose.
