The kid was born dead but his parents are trying to be super stars via his suffering.

Because the baby has a rare genetic condition known as a mitochondrial DNA depletion syndrome, the governments believe the baby is not gonna get better and keeping him on life support is only gonna prolong the eventually death they feel will come. another sign that the government trying to control people's lives. it should be up to the parents to decode what they want to do with their child.

Because the kid is already dead. And in the uk parents only have a responsiblity, not a right over their children. The hospital is going to court because they feel the child shouldnt suffer any longer.
