Possibly, and a better than even chance they might be Human also. As we Humans ARE (potentially anyway) a "Space faring race". We may have originated elsewhere or lost the interstellar technology from a past civilization HERE, and populated other near by compatible planets.------It would make perfect sense that near by planetary systems would be populated by the same Race if one is capable of space travel. Of course alien life could be completely different, having evolved separately on a separate planet, But still, it's a better than even bet that we would find humans on the first near by, Earth like, exoplanets we explore.
We have been here 250,000 years, plenty of time for many advanced civilizations like ours, or more advanced, to have come into being, get destroyed and build back MANY times over. ---And remember, HUMANS are space travelers.
As we can already theorize the "Physics shortcuts" "Warp Drives" and "Space Jumps" that get us around the light speed problem, and know the Physics behind them, it will be only a couple hundred years or less before interstellar space is open to us. -----And we learn the answers.
