No and this is why:
Jesus told a parable about a rich man who had a great crop. He decided to build bigger storehouses, after which he told himself "You have enough for many years. Eat, drink, and enjoy youself."
That night, God came to him and said, "Tonight they are demanding your life. Who will have the things you stored up?" So it happens with someone who has an abundan e, but is not rich toward God.
Jesus made an important point. What good is a long or short life that ends? God promises eternal life, and this life is vain if we are just a mist appearing then disappearing. It is much better to accept the truth that God did not make us in vain, and that it makes more sense to seek our Creator. If we draw close to him, he will draw close to us, and in fact, he is not far off from each one of us.
