    But not under the influence and only on private land for which permission has been granted.

    In some states an officer has the right if not obligation to apprehend a person who is operating a powered transportation device even on private land who is under the influence. I am not sure which states have this in effect. I say in effect because it is the result of a court ruling and not an actual regulation.

    Yes - but only if you're operating it on private land with the permission of the landowner.
