I dislike it, and I'll tell you why.
I do 95% of PC gaming. Old and new games. When microsoft decides to come out with a new OS, for the most part, a lot of older games become incompatible with that new OS, and can no longer be played. The only best fix for this, is to find an old PC, with an old OS on it, that did run those games, and just have 2 PC's in your room.
My other problem is how microsoft dumbs down everything. For some reason, they love to take away features and options that were included in previous OS's. From what I hear, you can no longer make Windows 10, look like Windows XP. You can do this in Windows 7 Pro however. And you can't get rid of cortana. Also, they have a lot of tracking stuff, but they have it hidden. My question is, why would they even do that in the first place?? Seems fishy to me.
Yes you can deactivate it, but when you download new updates, it will reactivate them, and so you have to go back in and re-deactivate those trackers. Look at what microsoft did with Skype. They did the same thing with Skype, that they did with Windows 10. Took their Skype 8 update, and pushed it down everyone's throat. Thankfully, there are people who use certain aspects of Skype on a daily basis, complained, and now microsoft has backtracked on their Skype 8 update.
I think it's becoming a question of, who likes microsoft? Because quite frankly, they're pissing a lot of people off. I've been using microsoft products since the 80's, and it doesn't matter. They treat us all like ****.
